Big Brother star Brian Dowling has revealed Channel 4 TV bosses considered offering him a massive “six figure” sum of money to take part in The Jump.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant - who is due his first baby this September with husband Arthur Gourounlian - opened up about the jobs he turned down over his career.
He revealed he cheekily chanced his arm and told TV bosses in 2017 he would only take part in The Jump if he was offered a “six figure” sum of money – admitting he thought they would never consider having him after he asked for such a huge fee.

But he said: “I remember I turned down The Jump. It was the year Vogue did it. I remember I said I would do it if they offered me a certain amount of money - it was something ridiculous, it was like six figures.
"And then they engaged in conversation and I was like 'oh my god’,” he said laughing.
The Kildare native told how he was also offered to become the next narrator of You’ve Been Framed after Emmerdale star Lisa Riley quit the show - but was forced to turn it down.
Brian told us: "I did turn down a few things. I do remember one thing. I was approached to do You’ve Been Framed. I remember they more or less offered it to me, but it wasn't me who turned it down. I was on contract with someone else and they wouldn't let me free up the time to do it.
"It was after Lisa Reilly left.”
But Brian admitted he would love to join the Irish alum and be part of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity but said he reckons he would be the most hated celebrity on the show.
"Listen I will fly economy to Australia, put me in the coffin, put me in with the snakes or the rats, do what you need to do - I have to feed a child,” he said jokingly ahead of welcoming his first baby later this year.
“But to be honest I think I would be so hated because I would be screaming, I would be cold, I definitely wouldn’t do well. I think I might make it halfway through if I tried but I would be on every task and challenge.”
It comes after Brian and Arthur told us they will air a special show documenting their surrogacy journey with Brian’s sister, Aoife.
He added that the couple still can’t believe they are about to be parents.
He said: “I can't believe we're going to be parents. It's so strange how 2022 was the year for us. Especially when we moved back here in 2020 and I was on Dancing With The Stars and then Covid and Arthur was a judge (on Dancing With The Stars) and we were trying to have a baby at the same time. I just think, yeah you never know what is going to happen, do you?”
