In 2023, Big Brother will once again be watching you.
The iconic reality show is coming back in March of next year, with fans going wild when the news, which had been rumoured for months, was confirmed during the Love Island final.
The initial run of the show was a massive hit with audiences and critics, with tens of millions of people tuning in to watch original host Davina McCall speak to the house during evictions and housemates competing for a life-changing cash prize.

However, the original series, which aired on Channel 4 and later Channel 5 between 2000 and 2018, was not without its controversies.
We decided to take a look back at some of the most heated moments from the original run - from a racism row to the biggest fight night we've ever seen.
'Wine bottle sex'
Kinga isn't a very common name, but a lot of people will hear it and think of one person and one specific moment.
Naturally, when you stick a group of people in a house with no contact with anyone but each other, there's usually a racy moment or two.
Housemate Kinga Karolczak appeared on the series in 2005, but after becoming drunk, she went outside and appeared to pleasure herself with an empty wine bottle.
She also flashed at one of her fellow housemates, before appearing to pleasure herself with the wine bottle yet again into the early hours of the morning.
The cameras cut away after Channel 4 viewers were shown Kinga heading to the garden with the bottle.
Daley threatens Hazel
Irish glamour model Hazel O'Sullivan tried her hand at the reality series in 2013, but things took a scary turn for her during her spell in the house.
Daley Ojuderie was kicked out after he threatened her, gripped her around the neck, swore at her and pinned her down to the bed.
He told her: "Have some respect for your f***ing elders or I'll nut you one."
Hazel later told co-stars she was "terrified" after her former friend "just flipped out".
She said: "He just turned – the eyes and everything. I had my knees up to his chest trying to push him away, really, really intense."
An investigation was launched into the incident after Daley was removed.
Celebrity Big Brother affair
Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis entered the Big Brother house for its 2016 celebrity edition, with her boyfriend Sam Reece waiting for her to return at the end of the series.
However, their romance was not meant to be, after Stephanie embarked on an affair with fellow housemate and model Jeremy McConnell.
The two could be seen kissing and cuddling in the house, leading Stephanie's boyfriend Sam to release a statement in which he dumped the star.
Jeremy and Stephanie later left the house as a couple and welcomed a child together, but their romance eventually came to an end.
Shilpa Shetty and Jade Goody racism row
One of the biggest controversies to have ever played out on TV happened in Big Brother in 2007 - specifically Celebrity Big Brother.
Bollywood Shilpa Shetty was subjected to a number of vile racist comments by housemates including Jade, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara.
The row sparked outrage in both the UK and India, with advertisers pulling out of sponsoring the show and politicians commenting publicly on the matter.
More than 44,500 complaints were submitted to Ofcom, with both Davina McCall and Dermot O' Leary holding the three housemates to account upon their evictions.
Speaking in the 2019 documentary Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain, Davina said: "I remember almost immediately thinking this is a bad combo. Three British young girls all coming together and forming a gang basically.
"It started to be bullying and I was like you are careering off the tracks. You are so badly going in the wrong direction."
Following the controversy, the decision was taken to ban audiences from outside the Big Brother house when Jade Goody was evicted, following concerns of riots and violence.
Racist removal
Just nine days into Big Brother's eighth series, Emily Parr was kicked out after she called pal Charley Uchea the N-word.
Charley said she wasn't offended, but did admit she was shocked Emily had used the racist word.
Regardless, Big Brother bosses kicked Emily out of the house for her use of the disgusting language.
'Punch-gate'
Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett took to the diary room in 2018, after accusing Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas of punching her.
The incident, which became known as "punch-gate", saw her accuse Ryan of being a "woman beater" and crying in the diary room.
Ryan was later given a formal warning by Big Brother bosses.
However, fans threw their support behind Ryan after cameras caught their exchange on screen, which saw the two stars play fighting.
Viewers submitted more than 11,000 complaints to Ofcom in support of Ryan, and Roxanne later apologised for "over-reacting" towards the incident.
Speaking during an on-air interview with Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis, Roxanne said: "It's a lot to deal with. I’m the most hated girl in Britain right now.
"I am scared about the future… I just want to say I’m sorry."
She added: "I needed to come and tell everyone that I got it wrong. I'm human. I made a massive, massive, horrible mistake."
Fight Night
One of the earliest flashpoints came in series five of the regular edition of the reality show.
Things kicked off with a playful food fight before an almighty row erupted among the housemates.
Eventual winner Nadia Almada flipped over a table, Emma Greenwood chucked a tray at Victor Ebuwa, who retaliated by throwing a plate at her head.
Emma then screamed she'd kill Victor, before she was evicted.
Police were even called to the house after the seriously heated incident.
