Saturday Night Takeaway fans have been left convinced the latest instalment of the ITV show sneakily unveiled who the new host of ITV2's Big Brother reboot will be.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returned for another instalment of Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV, with a live audience in the studio.
The show sees the beloved pair present hilarious sketches, play pranks on celebrity guests and invite the audience members to participate in games.
The latest episode on Saturday night also featured the world premiere of whodunnit skit Murder at Bigwig Manor, starring a whole host of ITV faces including Joel Dommett, Davina McCall, Keith Lemon and Judi Love.
The new skit saw the group of celebs caught up in a murder mystery, as Dermot and Judi were found murdered in the first episode.
However, viewers quickly noticed Strictly star AJ Odudu, who has been hotly tipped to land the Big Brother gig, among the stars and crucially standing next to former Big Brother host Davina.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "I'm taking AJ Odudu standing next to Davina McCall in Saturday Night Takeaway's skit with "ITV's biggest stars" as another clue that she's hosting Big Brother."
A second agreed: "AJ ODUDU??? CONFIRMS HER HOSTING BIG BROTHER."
A third added: “OH MY GOD AJ ON NEXT WEEK'S SATURDAY NIGHT TAKEAWAY
“I might literally scream I think they’re gonna announce AJ as the new BB host on SNT in the next few weeks.”
The world-famous reality TV show, which first launched in the Netherlands in 1999, is coming back to UK TV and will maintain its familiar format.
Launching “from 2023” on ITV 2 and ITVX, their new online streaming platform which they aim to open this year, Big Brother has a “brand-new home”.
In the UK, Big Brother first aired on Channel 4 and ran for a total of 11 series, plus seven series of Celebrity Big Brother and a final special edition series entitled Ultimate Big Brother.
The show subsequently aired for a further eight series on Channel 5, with an additional 15 celebrity series, before going on hiatus in 2018.
The upcoming 2023 series on ITV2 and ITVX will mark the first time Big Brother returns to UK screens in almost five years.
Bosses are very much keeping their cards close to their chest when it comes to the revamp’s host and information about the show’s cast.
However, Rylan has teased his involvement in ITV Big Brother, changing his Twitter location to inside the “Big Brother House” and following ITV’s announcement he tweeted: “He was always watching… It’s coming home #bbuk.”
