During a closed-door meeting with a group of the president’s top aides, which included campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon and advisers Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti, senators expressed their uncertainties about how their feedback would reach Biden.
Ricchetti assured the senators that he had taken detailed notes during the meeting and guaranteed that their perspectives would be communicated to Biden. He stated, 'I promise I am sitting down with him to go over this,' according to a source.
