A Biden campaign official has responded to the call from California Rep. Adam Schiff for President Trump to drop out of the race by pointing to a letter sent to congressional Democrats on July 8, where Biden reiterated his intentions to continue his campaign.

The campaign official also highlighted the broad support Biden has received from various Democratic lawmakers, including the chairs of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Congressional Black Caucus.
