RAIPUR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented a series of measures to combat Maoism in Chhattisgarh. However, these measures will yield effective results when there is a double-engine government in the state.
He appealed to the voters to pave the way for the BJP's return, as they have experienced the Congress government, which hindered the state's development. Shah made these statements during a rally organized by the Scheduled Tribe Community in Saraipali, Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. Tribals from Odisha also attended the rally.
