There is now less than a week to go until music icon Beyonce descends on Sunderland bringing her highly anticipated Renaissance tour to the city.
It's been seven years since Queen B was last on Wearside, packing out the Stadium of Light with her Formation concert, delighting fans who'd waited in the rain to see her.
And now on Tuesday, May 23, the megastar who has given us hits like Crazy in Love, Love on Top and Deja Vu, will be back at Sunderland AFC's famous ground with her Renaissance tour, which has already been delighting fans across the globe. The first of Beyonce's UK gigs is at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Wednesday, May 17.
Details of what songs she will perform on her tour have already circulated online, with a few eyebrows raised over classics that haven't made the cut, with Single Ladies, If I Were a Boy and Halo all missing in action. Reacting to that, one disappointed fan tweeted: "Single Ladies, Halo and XO too !!!! Like.. Wtf.. Those songs are iconics.. Her biggest hits!! Then why aren’t on the setlist?!?!
