Fans of the funny, frivolous, and frank dating disasters, narrated by character, Zara, are sure to love the new novel, What Happens in Dubai, which is released on August 18.

Readers can meet Sophie and ask her anything they want to know about Zara and her antics in an upcoming Q&A, hosted by Coatbridge-raised book club host, Heather Suttie, on Sunday, August 21, from 1pm-4.30pm at The Corinthian in Glasgow.

Sophie said: “I am so excited to finally get this book out into the world!

“I think it's THE perfect sequel to A Glasgow Kiss. Zara starts the book having recently had her heart broken and is going a bit off the rails when it comes to dating.

“She is definitely looking for quantity over quality of men! When she gets offered an all-expense paid trip to Dubai, she jumps at the chance but what could go wrong, eh?”

Sophie added: “The launch party promises to be fun and of course, what happens at the party, stays at the party!”

The event is sponsored by Whitley Neill and ticket price of £30 includes booking fee and will be hosted at Glasgow's The Corinthian on Sunday, August 21, from 1pm-4.30pm.
