Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2 has delivered a few unexpected additions, and one of them is the Akimbo attachment for the XM325 LMG. If you want the best XM325 loadout built around dual LMGs, we’ve got it for you.
Unlocked through Season 2 Weekly Challenges, the XM325 Titan Wield attachment allows you to run Akimbo LMGs with a belt-fed ammo pool and enhanced recoil control. However, you won’t be able to aim down sights (ADS) and fire continuously because the guns overheat.
To help you maximize the dual LMGs for close to medium range dominance, here’s the meta Akimbo XM325 loadout in Black Ops 7.

Best XM325 build in BO7 featuring Akimbo attachment

| Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|

MFS Motion Strike Laser (all hipfire spread, damage range, recoil stabilization) |
| Muzzle |
Titan-R 7.62 Compensator (all hipfire spread, slide and dive to fire speed, tactical stance spread) |
| Barrel |
24″ Fractal-LRB Barrel (damage range) |
| Rear Grip |
Causeway Grip (sprint to fire speed, jumping sprint to firee speed) |
If you haven’t unlocked it yet, the XM325 Titan Wield, which lets you run Akimbo LMGs, can be obtained by completing five Season 2 Week 2 challenges across BO7 Multiplayer, Zombies, Co-Op Campaign, and Warzone.
Because this setup relies on Akimbo and removes the ability to aim down sights (ADS), the MFS Motion Strike Laser is a must-have. It significantly tightens your hip-fire spread while boosting range and recoil control, making the guns feel almost like laser beams. You’ll need to rack up a lot of weapon XP and fully level the XM325, though, as the Motion Strike Laser is its Prestige attachment.
Slot in the Titan-R 7.62 Compensator to further improve hip-fire accuracy, as well as the Fractal-LRB Barrel so you stay deadly at mid range. Round out the build with the Causeway Grip to snap off shots quickly after sprinting. You won’t really need any mobility-focused attachments for this Akimbo XM325 build since it restricts movement when firing.

Best Akimbo XM325 class setup in BO7

- Secondary: Coda 9
- Melee: Personal preference
- Field Upgrade: Mute Field
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Lethal: Impact Grenade or Semtex
- Wildcard: Perk Greed
- Perk 1: Lightweight
- Perk 2: Scavenger
- Perk 3: Looper
- Perk Greed: Flak Jacket
- Combat Specialty: Enforcer
Run the Coda 9 pistol as your secondary so you’ve got something to fall back on when the Akimbo XM325 overheat. Mute Field gives you the combined effects of Ninja, Ghost, and Cold-Blooded while it’s active, great for a more stealthy playstyle. Take Stim Shot for a quick burst of healing and movement speed, and Impact Grenade or Semtex for a consistent lethal.
You won’t get full value out of Gunfighter here since the Akimbo stock blocks underbarrel and magazine attachments, making Perk Greed the smarter Wildcard choice. I’d recommend equipping red perks to trigger the Enforcer Combat Specialty, which grants a quick boost to movement speed and health regeneration after every elimination.
For perks, Lightweight, Scavenger, and Looper work best. Lightweight helps offset the weight of dual LMGs by improving your mobility. Scavenger keeps your ammo topped up, which is crucial since belt-fed weapons don’t come with spare magazines. Looper lets you use scorestreaks multiple times in a single life, making it easier to spam UAVs and other streaks. Finally, take Flak Jacket as your extra perk to reduce damage from explosives.
