A Chinese bride has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide after surprising her husband with an ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card on their wedding day. The groom was so overwhelmed that he burst into tears, a moment that quickly resonated with gaming communities.
The video, which resurfaced online in October 2026, has drawn praise from gaming enthusiasts and social media users who admired the bride's choice of a gift that reflected her husband's passion. Rather than presenting him with traditional wedding jewellery or an expensive watch, she opted for one of the most sought-after graphics cards in the world. The card has reportedly been valued at as much as $12,000 (£9,000) amid severe supply shortages, although the couple's actual purchase price has not been confirmed.
