Best VST loadout in Black Ops 7

The VST is the new SMG in Black Ops 7 Season 3, and it has significantly higher recoil in comparison to the other submachine gun counterparts. However, with the right attachments, you can dominate multiplayer lobbies with fast movement and clean handling.

The VST is one of the best SMGs to use in close-range combat, and it has the Akimbo option too, which lets you wield two SMGs, but you won’t be able to ADS the gun. In this loadout, I’m choosing this Akimbo attachment to utilize the high recoil of the VST in the best way possible.

With that said, here’s the best VST loadout you can use in BO7 Season 3 Multiplayer.

Slot Attachment
Muzzle Hawker Series 45
(Vertical Recoil Control)
Barrel 10.5″ Bowen Conquer Barrel
(Damage Range, Bullet Velocity)
Rear Grip Quiver Control Grip
(First Shot Recoil Control, Vertical Recoil Control, Recoil Gun Kick)
Stock Akimbo VST
(Dual Wield Toggle)
Fire Mods Buffer Springs
(Horizontal Recoil Control, Vertical Recoil Control)

The Hawker Series 45 muzzle focuses on vertical recoil control, which is the main thing that needs to be tamed for this gun. By calming the vertical climb, it lets you take slightly longer gunfights and stay on target when you commit to a push.

The 10.5″ Bowen Conquer Barrel adds damage range and bullet velocity, pushing the VST a bit further than standard SMG distances. The Quiver Control Grip‘s first-shot recoil control, extra vertical control, and reduced gun kick make the VST feel much smoother the moment you start firing.

Akimbo VST stock turns the SMG into a devastating close-range gun. You sacrifice precise ADS, but in small maps, it lets you delete players at point-blank range. Lastly, the Buffer Springs offers both horizontal and vertical recoil control, rounding out the build so it feels a little less wild.

  • Secondary: Velox 5.7
  • Melee: Personal choice
  • Field Upgrade: Mute Field
  • Tactical: Stim Shot
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Perk 1: Gung Ho
  • Perk 2: Assassin
  • Perk 3: Dexterity
  • Perk Greed slot: Lightweight
  • Combat Specialty: Enforcer

The Velox 5.7 pistol gives you a snappy swap option if you run out of bullets mid-fight, without reloading the VST. Like always, melee is a personal choice; choose whatever floats your boat.

Mute Field lets you push lanes and spawn traps without your footsteps giving you away, Stim Shot instantly boosts HP and survivability after a gunfight, and Semtex clears hardpoints and objective corners.

Coming to the perks, Gung Ho lets you sprint, slide, and fire more fluidly, which is exactly how you should play with an SMG. Assassin rewards your aggressive play by highlighting enemies on streaks. Dexterity speeds up mantling, climbing, and overall weapon handling, which keeps your movement crisp.

Perk Greed wildcard lets you stack extra perks to support that aggressive playstyle fully. Lightweight boosts movement speed, making your VST even more dangerous in close-range fights. Using these Perks, you unlock the Enforcer Combat Specialty, which, after each kill, gives you a buff to movement speed and health regen.
