The supermarket which has the ‘best value’ own brand has been revealed, and some may find it surprising.
Online supermarket Britsuperstore has analysed data from Mumsnet to see which one is the most popular with UK parents. Own brand products are often a cheaper alternative for many trying to save money on their weekly food shop, especially with prices going up.
The study shows that Aldi is the most popular supermarket for less expensive own brand comments, with 51% of Mumsnet comments referencing the shop as stocking the most “closely guarded secret” supermarket buys.
