In March last year, I found myself in the middle of nowhere in northern Finland, just past the Norwegian border, in search of the aurora borealis. (Spoiler alert: we saw them).
It was -23°C, the coldest place I had ever been, so cold that my eyelashes were forming icicles. My body, however, was warm and insulated – largely thanks to the TOG24 jacket I was wearing.
