When is Black Friday?

For 2023, Black Friday is on November 24. While this is the official date, the name has become a banner term for an extended sales period that can start as early as the beginning of November.

What is Black Friday?

Originating in the USA back in the 80s, Black Friday is a sales event that takes place just once a year following Thanksgiving. You may remember queues outside brick-and-mortar establishments where people would camp out in hopes of securing the cheapest tech deals on offer, but now the event is mostly in the digital space and it’s good. Really good.

When does Black Friday end?

Beginning on the fourth Friday of November, the sale continues on to the weekend and through to Cyber Monday. This year, Cyber Monday will be on November 27.

This day was typically reserved for tech deals but now tends to be a continuation for every category from beauty to homeware. Pay close attention though as for some retailers, the deals will crank up to the next level on this day, while others will drop the amount saved.
