Ohio State went on the road and needed one more play (or one less as it were) to come away victorious Saturday night in an amped up environment in Eugene, Oregon. Instead, the Buckeyes lost a 32-31 contest that was a bit of a bizarre game for both teams.
But the setting was magical. If you’ve never been to take in a game at Autzen Stadium, I highly recommend it. It was loud and intimidating and it would have been a huge feather in the cap for Ohio State to come away with a win.
Still, both teams had alternate uniforms on and there was plenty of action that made for some pretty fantastic photos. Our USA TODAY staff was on hand to take it all in and were sharing some of the best photos from our library with you.
