Best KTS100 MK8 loadout in Battlefield 6

The KTS100 MK8 is one of Battlefield 6‘s best LMGs, thanks to its laser-like recoil control and reliable damage output, making it a reliable option for both multiplayer and REDSEC.

At close ranges, this LMG fires at 514 RPM with 25 base damage, while having a four-shot kill at mid-range and 350ms TTK. For long ranges (beyond 75m), it works as a six-shot gun with 583ms TTK.

With that said, here’s a breakdown of the absolute best loadout for the KTS100 MK8 with the ideal attachments, tuning, perks, so you can dominate the lobbies easily and kill enemies back-to-back in Battlefield 6.

The best KTS100 MK8 loadout in BF6

Unlike faster LMGs, KTS100 MK8’s 514 RPM rewards controlled bursts for perfect bullet reg, while the high mag lets you suppress squads without reloading mid-fight.

Slot Attachment Attachment Points
Barrel 508mm MK8 10
Underbarrel Stippled Stubby 35
Ammunition Polymer Case 10
Muzzle Lightened Suppressor 30
Magazine 60Rnd Drum Mag 5
Optic RO‑M 1.75x 10

The 508mm MK8 barrel is the backbone of this build, as it tightens recoil and smooths out the bullet path, making firing feel consistent at mid ranges. The Stippled Stubby underbarrel boosts recoil stabilization and idle sway, which is huge when you’re pre-aiming lanes or holding crossfire angles. It helps keep the muzzle glued to the target when you’re tracking strafing enemies, especially on longer bursts where LMGs normally start to wander.

Polymer Case ammo prioritizes mobility and responsiveness, which is why it offers improved handling, making it perfect for those who prefer to move forward with their squad instead of anchoring.

The Lightened Suppressor keeps you off the minimap, making you stay hidden during sprays and third-party fights. The 60Rnd Drum Mag is the sweet spot for the LMG, as it’s big enough to delete multiple enemies.

The RO-M 1.75x optic gives you a clean, unobstructed sight picture that works on both tight lanes and long power positions. The zoom level is just enough to spot heads at range without making close-range tracking feel awkward.

Best KTS100 MK8 class setup

  • Class: Support
  • Training Path: Combat Medic
  • Secondary: Personal preference
  • Gadget one: Defibrillator
  • Gadget two: GPDIS
  • Throwable: Smoke Grenade

Support with the Combat Medic training path is made for staying close to the fight and constantly cycling revives and resupplies. Combat Medic bonuses make revives faster and safer, so you can drag teammates out of danger and bring them back up without instantly dying for it.

The Defibrillator is non-negotiable for Combat Medic, as you’ll be the backbone of the team’s survivability. Use it to chain revives behind cover, especially right after you’ve cleared a lane with the MK8, so your squad never fully wipes on an objective.

GPDIS is perfect for objective play, as it catches incoming explosives and keeps choke points from being deleted by spam. Drop it near common push routes you’re defending so your revives and resupplies aren’t ruined by random grenades.

Smoke Grenades are one of the strongest tools you have as Support, which lets you block sightlines, break sniper beams, and create safe corridors for revives. Combine smoke with your Defibrillator to drag and revive teammates inside the cloud, then use the MK8 to punish anyone who blind-pushes through it.
