The best FG42 Warzone loadout
Best FG42 build in Warzone
| Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|
| Stock |
MFS Ambilateral Stock (Fire Rate, Horizontal Recoil Control) |
| Optic |
FANG Hoverpoint Elo (Recoil Stabilization) |
| Muzzle |
VAS 8mm Suppressor (No Mini-Map Firing Ping, Damage Range, Recoil Stabilization) |
| Barrel |
16″ Bandolier Barrel (Horizontal & Vertical Recoil Control, Bullet Velocity) |
| Magazine |
Debase Extended Mag (Magazine Ammo Capacity to 60) |
The MFS Ambilateral Stock is the centerpiece of this meta FG42 Warzone build, as it provides massive improvements to horizontal recoil control and fire rate for laser-like accuracy and a faster TTK. While it increases vertical recoil, that downside is easy to manage by simply pulling your aim downward. Since it’s a Prestige Attachment, you’ll need to fully level the FG42 before unlocking it, but it’s definitely worth the grind.
To further stabilize the rifle’s recoil pattern, equip the FANG Hoverpoint Elo, VAS 8mm Suppressor, and Bandolier Barrel. On top of the recoil benefits, the optic offers a clean sight picture for long-range fights, the suppressor increases damage range and keeps you off enemy radar when firing, while the barrel boosts bullet velocity so you can consistently hit moving targets at range.
Finish the build with the Debase Extended Mag to get enough ammo and eliminate multiple enemies before reloading.

Best FG42 class setup in Warzone
- Secondary: VST or REV-46 SMG
- Melee: Personal preference
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Lethal: Semtex
- Perk 1: Drill Instructor or Mountaineer
- Perk 2: Sprinter or Momentum
- Perk 3: Adaptive
The FG42 excels as a long-range primary weapon, so pairing it with a meta SMG such as the VST or REV-46 gives you a reliable answer for close-range engagements. Both SMGs received buffs in Warzone Season 5 and should be excellent complements to this FG42 class setup.
For perks, I recommend Mountaineer, Momentum, and Adaptive to maintain strong mobility during aggressive engagements. If you prefer rotating around the map more quickly, swap Momentum for Sprinter and Mountaineer for Drill Instructor.
Stim Shot is my preferred tactical because it provides instant healing and a movement speed boost when repositioning. If you play more defensively and squad-oriented, Smoke Grenade is a solid alternative. For lethal equipment, Semtex is solid for forcing enemies out of cover, while the Combat Axe is another strong choice, particularly in Resurgence where quick eliminations are rewarded.
