Best dressed and top outfits spotted on Grand National day at Aintree racecourse

The Grand National Festival 2023 is well underway - and the main event has officially arrived.

The three-day event at Aintree racecourse is always huge in Liverpool’s social calendar and this year is no different. We've already seen some brilliant outfits from Thursday and of course Friday's Ladies Day, but today, all eyes are on Aintree once again as racegoers wear their best for Grand National day.

Grand National racegoers will notice a change to the dress code this year, and there are a number of things people will not be allowed to wear. But while trends may come and go, one thing is always constant for attendees from Merseyside and beyond - a great mix of styles and attention to detail.

Yesterday might have been the Style Award, but that hasn't stopped people from putting their fashionable foot forward today. Racegoers have been pulling out the stops today with beautiful gowns, smart suits and classic accessories such as stunning hats and fascinators.

Throughout the day, the ladies and gents of Aintree have been making the most of their race day, enjoying a drink with friends to winning big (or small) on the horses. And in what feels like a flash, the event will be over for everyone in a few hours until next year.

Today, the ECHO team has been out on the course all day, and we've rounded-up the best dressed outfits spotted around Aintree. Check out some of our photos in the gallery above.
