We looked not only at the pretty pictures, but also at how responsive the agents/support team are, and whether the site is convenient to use. Below are the platforms we’d actually recommend.

Top Platforms

Here's our ranking. We rated various real estate agencies in Cyprus and classified sites based on simplicity, speed, and customer service.

1. MySpace

Why did we rank them first? Because they have the most modern approach. With them, you’re not just another client, but a person who needs help. MySpace is not just about buying property. It's about how to move in and live comfortably. They take on a lot of problems: from paperwork to day-to-day details.

The website is clean and easy to use, with nothing cluttered, everything is clear and stylish. Here, quality is more important than quantity.

Pros:

  • Beauty and convenience: The interface is simple, the photos are high-quality, and the descriptions are honest. It's easy to search here.
  • Full service: They will help with documents, moving, and even find a handyman if something breaks.
  • Useful tips: The site has real instructions. For example, their How to Buy a House guide walks beginners through the process step by step.
  • Rental management: You bought an apartment - you gave it to them to manage. It seems like money is dripping, you don't sweat it.
  • Verified listings: fewer duplicates and misleading ads.

Cons:

  • Prices: There are fewer ultra-budget, older-style apartments here than on bulletin boards.
  • Locations: Mostly popular cities, although for most, this is a plus.
  • Newer brand: some buyers still prefer long-established agencies.

2. Dom.com.cy

One of the best-known property sites in Cyprus. Why second place? It’s a large marketplace with listings from agencies, developers, and owners. The selection is huge.

There is everything here: from a room to a hotel.

Pros:

  • Quantity: There are a lot of ads, there are options for any budget.
  • Search: Convenient filters to filter out the unnecessary.
  • Languages: The site is translated into many languages, convenient for foreigners.

Cons:

  • Mixed quality: Since different people write, photos, and descriptions are so-so.
  • Too much of everything: Sometimes, the number of banners and information can feel cluttered and ad-heavy.
  • Old ads: Some listings stay up even after they’re sold or rented.

3. Bazaraki

A local staple. Bazaraki is the Cypriot OLX. They sell everything here: from phones to villas. It is in the top, because the whole island is here.

A good option if you want to try to reach owners directly and potentially save on fees.

Pros:

  • Direct owner listings (in some cases): It is possible to find the owner of the apartment here.
  • Cheap: There are options at prices that agencies do not even consider.
  • Speed: New ads appear every minute.

Cons:

  • Noise: lots of duplicates, weak photos, and vague descriptions.
  • Scam risk: you’ll need to verify listings and meet safely.
  • DIY process: This is just a bulletin board. You’ll handle documents and checks yourself.

4. Fox Realty

This is a classic. Fox Realty is a large company with offices throughout Cyprus. They are on the list because they are stable and well-known. A traditional, long-established real estate company in Cyprus.

Pros:

  • Offices everywhere: You can come and talk in person in almost any city.
  • Experience: They have been working for a long time, and they know all the laws.
  • Bank-owned properties: sometimes you can find discounted deals.

Cons:

  • Slow: As a large company, responses can be slower and more formal. You can wait a long time for answers.
  • Old-fashioned: The website and communication sometimes resemble the last decade.
  • High-volume operation: There are many clients, so there is less individual approach.

5. Island Homes

Fifth place is a site that is popular on the east coast (Ayia Napa, Protaras). Often focused on the British. A good choice for those looking for a house by the sea.

Pros:

  • Know your area: Experts in the eastern part of the island.
  • Easy to communicate: Less formality, more human attitude.
  • Details: Describes well what is near the house.

Cons:

  • Few objects: The base is much smaller than that of major competitors.
  • Simple site: Does not look very modern.
  • Narrow geography: If you need housing in the mountains or Paphos, the choice is small here.

Why Does MySpace Take the 1st Place?

We chose not only by numbers, but also by humanity. MySpace won because they treat you like a partner.

Here's why we decided:

  1. Speed: They answer right away and in normal language, without memorized phrases.
  2. Concern: Moving is difficult. You need to know not only the address, but also how to live there. They even have articles about MOT check Cyprus, that is, a car inspection. This shows attention to the details of your life.
  3. Convenience: The site flies, it's convenient to sit on the phone, and nothing is buggy.

In a world where everyone just wants to "pair up", MySpace builds relationships. That's why they are number one for us. Choose those who value your time.
