When we were tasked with writing the best books for children, we won’t lie, it seemed like a huge task. A lovely one – one of our favourite subjects is children’s literature – but huge.
We canvassed opinions, but that almost made it worse. We were inundated with responses – clearly there are a lot of people out there who feel as passionately about kids’ books as we do. And it’s understandable. Get a child into books from a very young age and you can create a life-long love of reading. And that is one of the best gifts you could ever give to another person.
