A golf ball is one of the most important bits of equipment us golfers use; we all know this, as do the brands who create them. Such is the demand for golf balls, there are models designed for every type of golfer. Whether you are a newbie to the game, or a high-level player, there is a particular type of golf ball to suit your needs.
For example, the best golf balls on the market, the ones used by the Tour professionals, come with the top of the range performance you would expect. A lot of the time, they also usually come with premium price points but, as some of the deals below show, there are discounts to be had. (For a complete list of all the deals by the way, check out our best Black Friday golf deals hub page).
At the other end of the market, the best value golf balls are more about helping beginners and higher handicap players get the most distance as possible. These models usually come with cheap prices and you can also get several dozen in a deal too. Additionally, there are models in the middle which seek to deliver good performance, towards the top-end of the spectrum, without the premium price.
Now, because of how many different brands and models there are on the market, it is a crowded space. This is good for us because there is a lot of choice and there are deals to be had, especially at this time of year with Black Friday coming up soon, Cyber Monday a few days later, and then we are into Christmas gifting season! As such we have scoured the internet and found our top golf ball deal picks below.

When is Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
In 2024 Black Friday will get underway on Friday 29th November and Cyber Monday will take place on the 2nd December this year. That being said, as you can see above, there are actually a lot of deals already live on golf balls so it might be worth stocking up now before the event itself if your favorite model is discounted. Obviously after the 2nd December we often see further discounts so there will be further opportunities to purchase gifts for Christmas, or for yourself.
Should I buy a new pack of golf balls on Black Friday?
Absolutely! Golf balls are perhaps one of the most frustrating pieces of equipment to buy in golf because you can lose them so easily. For that reason, it is best to make up whatever opportunity you can to get a good deal on a pack of golf balls, particularly if you can get a large pack at a great value price.
In the US, some of the best golf retailers include PGA Tour Superstore, Rock Bottom Golf, Walmart and, of course, Amazon. In the UK, the best golf retailers include Scottsdale Golf, American Golf, Sports Direct, Click Golf and Amazon.
What to look out for
We all need more golf balls and, if you are on this guide, then you do too, but before you go and buy there are a couple of things we think you should be aware of. Firstly, be aware of how many golf balls you get in the deal. Some deals above are on a few dozen balls which will kit you out for the year (hopefully), whereas others are only for a dozen. Therefore have a think about how many you want.
Secondly, do some research on which balls will suit your game best. Different golf balls do different things. Are you a player who needs help with distance? Or would you prefer more of a softer-feeling golf ball? Be aware of this and make your purchase accordingly. Next up, be aware of deals that seem too good to be true. We have found that they usually are because the ball has actually been repurposed or refurbished which explains the cheaper price. With this point, just be vigilant and read the products properly.
Finally, given how many really good balls go on offer during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it makes sense to try and get more for your money right? Therefore, if you see a good deal on some Pro V1s, or TP5s, go for it. At no other time of year can you get a dozen for such a cheap price so why not use an aspirational golf ball provided it will benefit your golf game!
