We've taken a look at some of the biggest and best deals so far on essential cleaning products and equipment that will leave you in the perfect position for the ultimate spring clean.
Early Black Friday Shark deals
For many people, Shark is synonymous with premium vacuum cleaning products and Black Friday is often the best point in the year to get big savings on some of the higher spec models. If early indications are anything to go by, this year is no different.
If you prefer a lightweight, stick vacuum then the best deal so far is this cordless anti-hair wrap version which is 43% off and reduced to £199. One reviewer went so far as describing as 'a dream to handle,' adding: "In the world of cordless stick vacuum cleaners, this is a design and functionality masterclass from Shark.
"One of the best things is its compactness. It literally folds in half and free stands – there is no need to drill holes to fit a bracket so that you can store it upright." If you prefer an upright model then the starting price is more expensive, with this Shark Stratos with anti-hair wrap and anti-odour functionality coming in at £299, but that includes a hefty 30% discount.
Dyson price drops
Dyson products - from hairdryers to heaters and beyond - are top of many wishlists on Black Friday. The British electrical engineers have already released a host of Black Friday deals and promise that the best prices people will get over this shopping season will be direct from them.
The Dyson Cyclone V10 cordless stick hoover - which is so iconic that you can buy a child-sized toy version for children wanting to play house - has been reduced by £100 to £329. Meanwhile, the slightly more powerful V12 model is now £429.
Mrs Hinch's Instagram-famous mop
Whether you've got pets underfoot or muddy shoes in and out of the house every day, an effective mop is one of the quickest ways to make your house look clean and tidy with minimal effort. Cleaning influencer Sophie Hinchcliffe, also known as Mrs Hinch, went viral when she took to Instagram to share a story of herself using the Vileda Turbo Microfibre model.
Usually priced at £35.99, it already discounted in several retailers in readiness for Black Friday with Amazon - where the handy product has more than 65,000 glowing reviews - selling it for £30.40. The best deal right now though is Dunelm where you can pick it up for just £25 as part of their pre-Black Friday deals.
With a foot pedal and operated wringer, multiple online reviewers have described the mop and bucket as a 'game changer' with one happy customer adding: "After a lifetime of 'game changing' gadgets, gizmos, and other assorted fab ideas that don't work, or simply break, this device is impossible to praise too highly!"
The pedal allows users to control the amount of water in the mop, depending on the type of floor you need to clean. If you want to fully channel your inner Hinch, use it with some Christmas-scented Zoflora, another favourite of the influencer.
Karcher window vacs
With the weather colder, for many homes indoor condensation is beginning to creep in, especially when trying to dry clothes on airers. This can make windows annoyingly wet on the inside, which looks unpleasant but can also, if it happens often, lead to damp or even mould growth that can be harmful to health.
The Karcher Window Vac is a popular choice with fans. Not only is it quick and easy to use but it avoids smears easily picked up when using a cloth and glass cleaner. The WV1 model is Amazon's top seller, with 4.5 stars out of 5 from more than 11,000 happy customers.
The internet giant is currently selling it for £39.99 - a 7% discount - but with Currys currently offering six months' free Apple TV on any purchase this month, you could get it for the same price and enjoy free streaming well into 2023 worth £41.94. We recommend you start with Ted Lasso.
Storage solutions aplenty
For many of us the best way to stay clean is to tidy away some of the clutter. Lifewit has reduced the cost of large capacity clothes storage bags by 25% as part of the Black Friday sale, allowing you to get three bags big enough to put away plenty of summer clothes.
Each bag holds up to 35 folded items of clothing or even one large duvet. Perfect for under the bed or even in the loft, it's a great way to clear away some of the things that end up attracting dust.
'Miracle' mould remover
If you are too late with your window vac and have noticed mould spots starting to appear in your home, then HG's Mould Remover spray is a simple and effective way of tackling the problem - and this is one I can highly recommend myself having tested it in my own bathroom and been amazed at the results.
Usually £6 a bottle, right now you can pick it up for 25% off using Amazon's Subscribe and Save.
