This primary season has seen some big surprises, and Sen. Bernie Sanders recently took to X to highlight a growing trend.

He pointed out in his post, “What do Zohran Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayed, Peggy Flanagan and Angie Nixon have in common? They all ran strong progressive grassroots campaigns. They were all heavily outspent. THEY ALL WON. The establishment has the money. We have the people. When we stand together, we win.”
