Berlin airport reopens after security scare and evacuation, police say

Terminal 1 at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) has been reopened after a hazardous materials incident was triggered on Thursday night, prompting the evacuation of the building.

"The police operation has ended," an airport spokesperson said.
