Celtic have snapped up Benjamin Siegrist on a four-year deal.
The former Dundee United No1 becomes the Hoops' second signing of the close season following Cameron Carter-Vickers' permanent switch to Parkhead. Ange Postecoglou allowed Vasilis Barkas to leave on a loan move to FC Utrecht and he's moved quickly to strengthen his goalkeeping ranks with the Swiss stopper.
The 30-year-old is well known to Celtic fans with many stand-out displays for United against his new employers. He told Celtic TV: "It feels amazing, it’s a very proud feeling to be here, and I’m really, really excited. I can’t wait to get going and meet the staff, the players, and, ultimately play for this football club. I had a phone call from the manager, he hung up the phone and I think people just knew straight away that something good was happening. It was a very proud moment in my career.
