Paying sky-high rent is usually meant to make life a bit easier. But for one Bengaluru tenant, it seems to have done the exact opposite. A Reddit post shared by a man living in Koramangala has gone viral after he claimed his landlord verbally abused him for using the air conditioner “too much” in a cramped studio apartment with barely any ventilation.
The post has caught plenty of attention online, especially among young professionals who’ve moved to Bengaluru for work and struggled with the city’s pricey and often frustrating rental scene.
