Bengaluru: Gang of 5 held for murder of ex-serviceman

BENGALURU: A gang of five persons, including a caretaker nurse with a private hospital, has been arrested for allegedly murdering an ex-serviceman at his Gautham Colony residence in Domlur on Wednesday.

The main suspect is caretaker Babu Naik, a resident of Marathahalli. The other accused are his brother Murali Naik and brothers-in-law Gajendra Naik, Rajendra Naik, and Devendra Naik, all residents of Ramakuppam of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. Police said Babu was the caretaker of the mother of the deceased, Suresh alias Jude, when she was bedridden. After she passed away, he continued his proximity with Suresh.
