Bengaluru: Crack on track disrupts Mysuru Road-Kengeri Metro service

BENGALURU: Hundreds of passengers were stranded at various stations between Mysuru Road and Kengeri on the Purple Line on Thursday due to a technical snag.

BMRCL sources said a crack had developed on the track between Kengeri and Kengeri bus terminal stations near pillar no. 654. “The crack was noticed around 8.30am. Hence, trains were operated on a single track at 25 to 30 minute intervals between Mysuru Road and Kengeri stations. Our maintenance team rushed to the spot and the issue was rectified by around noon,” said a BMRCL source.
