BENGALURU: Two Ugandan women and two men from Nigeria were arrested and MDMA crystals worth Rs 1.5 lakh recovered from them. Namutebi Shamariha, 25, had come to India on a tourist visa in 2020 and Nanfuka Phiona, 27, on a medical visa in 2021. They stayed on illegally in Hennur after their visas expired, police said.
The Nigerians are Ebazee Justice, 31, and associate Samuel Chike Anthony, of HBR Layout. Police said Justice is a musician who uploads his videos on social media.
