Bengaluru: 25 international flights resume; more routes in pipeline

Bengaluru KIA Kempegowda International Airport

BENGALURU: With the Centre lifting the ban on scheduled international flights, Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is teeming with passengers. The number of daily international departures has increased to around 25 flights from a mere 10 during the pandemic.

Over 90 per cent of the routes that were operating before Covid have been made functional again.
