Bengals coach Zac Taylor is a man of the people. He showed that much a year ago when he started a heartwarming tradition of delivering game balls to local Cincinnati bars after wins.
Taylor proved yet again why he’s beloved in Cincy when he issued a brilliant challenge to Bengals fans ahead of Sunday’s home matchup against the Vikings.
The fifth-year coach said in Tuesday’s press conference, “I do challenge our fans—we got outstanding fans—to drink one more drink, rush in the stadium, and be as loud as you can humanly be when Minnesota’s offense is out there.”
Zac Taylor believes the Paycor crowd can play a major role Saturday afternoon vs Minnesota:

Taylor added, “We get this home field advantage… Minnesota’s here, let’s make it a real problem for them.”
Following Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury in November, the unexpected rise of backup quarterback Jake Browning has seen the Bengals score 34 points in each of their last two wins. With a talented offense featuring Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and a top-five defense led by coordinator Lou Anarumo, Cincinnati has every intention of bringing the heat—and plenty of beer belches—to the Vikings this weekend.
Fans should be more than eager to rise up to Taylor’s challenge at Paycor Stadium, where the average price of a beer is $6.60. Only a handful of franchises sell beer for cheaper, and none of those teams have reached the Super Bowl in the last two years.
The Bengals (7-6) will play the Vikings (7-6) at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
