A popular list making the rounds right now ahead of the 2023 NFL details prospects who might go earlier than most expect.
And the Cincinnati Bengals should have eyes on all of them.
The list, courtesy of NFL Network’s Peter Schrager, details these names after conversations with general managers around the NFL:
- Georgie EDGE Nolan Smith
- Pittsburgh DL Calijah Kancey
- Miami CB Tyrique Stevenson
- Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez
- Mississippi State CB Emmanuel Forbes
It sure reads like a list of best-case scenarios for the Bengals. A few are likely out of Cincinnati’s range regardless, but Kancey and Forbes are especially notable targets.
Kancey, a smaller pass-rusher on the interior reminiscent of Geno Atkins, would fit nicely next to DJ Reader. And Forbes, who has met with the team, is arguably the best cornerback in the draft despite concerns about his playing weight being too light.
The list of names is one for fans to remember, especially as the Bengals approach the draft hoping to boost the pass-rush and cornerback depth.
THE IYKYK LIST.
