The Cincinnati Bengals have been quiet at the running back position in free agency so far.
That comes as a mild surprise. It felt like Joe Mixon’s spot on the roster was far from guaranteed before the market opened. And it’s no secret the team made an aggressive push to keep Samaje Perine before he decided to sign elsewhere.
While the Bengals still have the draft to add to the running back room, the remaining names on the market are mostly budget buys whose production could outplay the cost, making for good value.
Mixon could very much end up rotating with a rookie by the opener next season, but just in case, here’s a look at the names still available.
