The Atlanta Falcons have now had a player poached off their practice squad in back-to-back weeks. According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Cincinnati Bengals have signed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber.
The Falcons claimed Stueber off waivers back in June but he did not make the 53-man roster out of training camp. Stueber was selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. The former Michigan offensive tackle has yet to play in an NFL game.

Stueber was poached from Atlanta’s practice squad exactly one week after the team lost rookie Zion Logue to the Buffalo Bills. Logue, a sixth-round pick out of Georgia, was one of four defensive linemen selected by the Falcons in the 2024 draft.
Atlanta’s rookie class has barely contributed this season, but second-round pick Ruke Orhorhoro made his NFL debut against the Buccaneers. According to Pro Football Focus, Orhorhoro finished among the 10 highest-graded players on the team in Week 5.
