The Cincinnati Bengals are going to Springfield.
It’s Animation Domination, NFL style. The Bengals have a Monday night showdown with the Dallas Cowboys on December 9. In addition to the traditional broadcast, ESPN will have an alternate broadcast in the style of The Simpsons:
ESPN, Disney, the Simpsons and the National Football League will premiere The Simpsons Funday Football on Monday, Dec. 9, an animated Monday Night Football game transformed in real-time into the iconic Simpsons world using Sony’s Beyond Sports Technology. Atoms Stadium in Springfield will host the fully immersive fan viewing experience featuring the Cincinnati Bengals at the Dallas Cowboys, ESPN’s Monday Night Football game that evening.
Fans can view the Simpsons-style broadcast on ESPN+, Disney+ and NFL+. This will give fans three different broadcasts along with the traditional broadcast with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as well as the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli Manning (and to an extent this year, Bill Belichick).
