The Cincinnati Bengals have met with one of the most popular fan-suggested draft picks at the scouting combine.
During standard combine interviews, Georiga tight end Brock Bowers revealed that he’s met with a variety of teams, including the Bengals.
That’s good news for Bengals fans who want to see the first-round pairing happen, though it is just logical due diligence by those members of the organization in attendance at the event.
Bowers is the runaway top tight end in the class and the appeal of adding a prospect of his caliber to an offense with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and others is pretty obvious — especially after the revolving door that tight end has been for the team.
That said, it’s impossible to know if Bowers will actually make it to No. 18 in the opening round. But if he does, the Bengals have done some notable work on him.
Brock Bowers seemed excited about his interview with the Cincinnati Bengals. Can’t blame him wanting to work with Joe Burrow and the WR corps. #Bengals pic.twitter.com/jXy0RNILrB
