The Cincinnati Bengals made minor housekeeping roster moves on the Saturday before the team’s Week 7 clash against the Atlanta Falcons.
Cincinnati announced it elevated Joe Bachie to the active roster from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and elevated defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin from the practice squad to the active roster.

The moves come in response to Cincinnati’s two biggest concerns on defense — the absence of linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive tackle DJ Reader.
Bachie hit the PUP on August 30 due to a knee injury and re-debuts just in time with Wilson out for what could be at least a few weeks. Shelvin comes up as depth with Reader out and will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
