Bengals make roster move ahead of Week 5 vs. Cardinals

The Cincinnati Bengals have made a roster move just before the Week 5 game against the Arizona Cardinals in order to address some issues at the wide receiver position.

Saturday, the team announced it elevated Kwamie Lassiter II from the practice squad, making him a standard elevation who will revert to the practice squad on the Monday after the game.

The move is a result of Tee Higgins being listed as questionable for the game due to a rib injury — one he sounded intent on attempting to play through. Rookie wideout Charlie Jones is also on injured reserve due to a thumb injury that required surgery.

A popular fringe roster player amongst fans, Lassiter was a member of the roster for Week 18 last year. The Bengals have used this same elevation process to nice results over the last few weeks with Tanner Hudson.
