The current crop of Cincinnati Bengals go a ways back with Baltimore Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr., formerly of the Los Angeles Rams.
Chidobe Awuzie and the Bengals faced off against Beckham’s Rams in the Super Bowl. More recently, Bengals players got in a war of words with Beckham on social media.
Buy Bengals TicketsAnd then there’s new Bengals safety Nick Scott, who was teammates with Beckham on that Rams team.
“If I had to guess, I think they’re really going to try and get him the ball this week and get him to be the player he’s proven to be,” Scott said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “But we’ve got great lockdown corners on the outside with Chido and Cam, (Taylor-Britt) and DJ. Beckham only had two catches for 37 yards in his Ravens debut last week, but it feels like a matter of time before he really gets going.
