Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard appears to be on the positive end of a serious injury scare after leaving Sunday evening’s training camp practice.
Hubbard left quietly on a cart after walking off under his own power. Later in the night, though, ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported that Hubbard technically had a knee injury that required an MRI.
Luckily for all involved, a source told Graziano that the “test results were good and Hubbard should be ok.”
Hubbard could still miss time, but it sounds like a major issue averted. It’s great news for Hubbard, who played through an injury last year and got it corrected this offseason, plus great news for a Bengals pass-rush that could really use his presence.
