Coming out of the Week 5 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Cincinnati Bengals got started on what could be extensive roster moves by signing guard Andrew Stueber off the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.
The news comes from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and comes in the wake of Bengals tackle Amarius Mims suffering an injury during the loss to the Ravens.
Stueber spent the first two years of his career with New England after being selected in the seventh round, then went to Atlanta via a waiver claim over the summer.
Now, the Bengals add a little more depth to the interior of the offensive line, perhaps to give themselves wiggle room to have Cody Ford focus on tackle, should Mims need to miss time—and with Trent Brown already lost for the season.
