A leading outlet have warned Benfica that Celtic are showing "signs of life" after their convincing 2-0 win over Motherwell. And the Portuguese heavy hitters duly followed up with their own victory by the same scoreline by seeing off Vitoria Guimares on Sunday night. Benfica had scouts at Fir Park and leading outlet Noticias a minuto left impressed by Martin O'Neill's men despite their recent trials and tribulations. Iota’s return was hailed, but the winger won't feature against his boyhood club as he is ineligible for Europe. Celtic are now in focus for Marco Silva's men, who are aiming to make it six points out of six to start their Europa League campaign. Despite the win at Fir Park, the mood music around the Premiership champions remains relatively sombre as they ahead of their daunting trip to the Stadium of Light.
