Benfica will be looking to secure a lead to take to Italy as they host Inter Milan in the first leg of their quarter-final tie tonight.
The Portuguese side sit seven points clear at the top domestically and they have been just as impressive in the Champions League too, cruising past Club Brugge in the last-16 after finishing top of their group above PSG and Juventus before Christmas.
They now face an Inter side sorely lacking in confidence, having gone six matches without a win. Simone Inzaghi’s are fifth in Serie A, and edged to a narrow 1-0 aggregate win over Porto to reach the quarter-finals in Europe.
