British actor Ben Whishaw has split from his husband of 10 years, the Australian composer Mark Bradshaw as hectic work schedules sabotaged their romance.
The 41-year-old Bond actor and the 39-year-old film composer had been an item since 2009 and tied-the-knot in a civil partnership in 2012.
The duo have kept their romance highly private – with the pair only going public with their love in 2013 with Ben’s agent confirming their relationship.
But now the romance is said to have come to a close with the pair splitting up – however they are said to still be living together, but dating other people.
A source told the Mail on Sunday: “Their marriage has fizzled. Ben’s husband has told friends he is seeing other people.
“Travel and work schedules have taken their toll. They still live together and apparently it’s all very amicable but they’ve been seeing other people for a few months.”
The Mail’s report also claims that “both are now thought to be dating other people” with the pair still holed up together in the East London home.
Ben and Mark met in 2009 on the set of the romantic drama film Bright Star where Ben played the poet John Keats and Mark composed the music.
They entered into a Civil Partnership in 2012, but news of their romance wasn’t made public until the following year.
Ben’s agent explained at the time: "Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work.
“Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy."
Ben recently starred in the BBC drama This Is Going To Hurt which is based on the memoir of former doctor Adam Kay.
The show sees Ben’s character working as a junior doctor working on a obstetrics and gynaecology ward – while struggling to hold down a relationship outside of work.
He is best known for playing technology expert Q in the Jame Bond film series – appearing opposite Daniel Craig’s 007 in the films Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die.
The star is also the voice of Paddington Bear in the popular children’s film series based on the iconic Peruvian bear.
