Ben & Jerry's is bringing a music festival to Bristol harbourside this summer offering unlimited free ice-cream. Sister Sledge is set to headline Ben & Jerry's Sundaes In The City at the Lloyds Amphitheatre in August - and tickets are just £10 each.
Last year, the US ice cream company brought its annual Sundae festival to Hastings pier with Soul II Soul as headliners. This year, Ben & Jerry's will be hosting a line-up of music, comedy and free ice cream next to the waters of Bristol Harbour, hosted on Saturday, August 5 from noon until 10.30pm.
Disco legends Sister Sledge - known for hits such as 'He's The Greatest Dancer', 'Lost In Music' and 'We Are Family' - are top-billed and will perform with original member Kathy Sledge, who re-joined the band this year. They're joined by R&B and neo-soul artist, Pip Millett, and a whole host of local comedians as part of the festival's brand-new comedy tent.

Ben & Jerry’s Resident Office DJ, DJ Chunky Beats said: “It’s that time of year again for me to hand over my DJ duties. After a sold-out beach-side festival last summer, we’re excited to bring our Sundaes festival to the happiest city in the UK – Bristol!
"This year you’ll catch me proving that I’m the Greatest Dancer as I bust some shapes with a scoop of chocolate-topped whipped Sundae in hand.”
Children of Zeus, Da Fuchaman, Felix Joy, O'Flynn, and The Mouse Outfit will also be performing with more talented local artists still to be announced. As well as music and comedy, there will also be a Ferris wheel and a helter skelter
Tickets cost just £10 each available through Skiddle with all proceeds from ticket sales being donated to local charities which support refugees and people seeking asylum. Last year, the event raised over £17,000 for The Refugee Buddy Project in Hastings.
As part of the ticket, you will have unlimited free ice cream, including new Sundae flavours Dulce De-lish and Choco-lotta Cheesecake.
It's one of several festivals scheduled for the summer at the Lloyds Amphitheatre including Sirens and Bristol Sounds.
Ben & Jerry's Sundae in the City comes to Bristol Harbourside on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Tickets are £10 available through Skiddle
