Watford stopper Ben Foster has leapt to the defence of interviewer Des Kelly after a fiery exchange with Steven Gerrard.
The veteran goalkeeper was carrying out post-match duties with the BT Sport reporter following Liverpool 's win over the Hornets.
It comes after an awkward post match interview before the international break with the Aston Villa boss.
Following defeat to Arsenal, the former Rangers gaffer took offence at Kelly's chosen line of questioning.
When discussing the gap between Villa and the European places, Gerrard abruptly closed out the interview with: "I'm emotional, I don't like getting beat and I actually thought your questions would be a little bit better in all honesty."
However, 38-year-old wasn't having any of the post-match stick handed out by Gerrard.
Speaking after his interview with Kelly on BT Sport Foster said: "And they were good questions then, alright?
"Don't, Steve G, I won't have anything bad said about him. Good he is, alright?"
