Hat-trick hero Ben Doak has been tipped for a big-future in the game after impressing for Scotland 's under-17s against Georgia.
Brian McLaughlin’s side knew nothing less than a comprehensive victory would see them stand a chance as one of seven best-placed runners-up.
But they blew away Georgia with a six-goal salvo - with Celtic ace Doak helping himself to a treble.
The 16-year-old has been linked with the likes of Liverpool with reports claiming Jurgen Klopp 's side are closing in on the switch.
It's easy to see why clubs are lining up for his signature after his heroics for the national side.
McLaughlin insists no matter where he is the only was up for the starlet.
He said: “Ben’s performance doesn’t surprise me.
"He just trains so well. I’d spoken to him about making more diagonal runs toward the goal because he can become a goalscorer as well as a winger.
“I can only see a big future for him.
“But this result is about the team and it’s a brilliant achievement to reach the finals.”
