Ben Chilwell has sent a message to his Chelsea teammates as they prepare for the FA Cup final with Liveprool at Wembley. The left-back is still recovering from a knee injury but was en route to Wembley to cheer on the Blues when he sent the message.
Thomas Tuchel is looking to secure the fourth trophy of his spell as Chelsea manager today while Jurgen Klopp will be eager to keep alive hopes of a historic quadruple. The two sides have already met in the final of a major tournament this season, with the Reds coming out on top at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final after a penalty shoot-out.
Chelsea were also beaten in the final of last season's FA Cup, a Youri Tielemans screamer securing the famous cup for Leicester City in the 1-0 victory. The Blues do not have a good record at Wembley in recent years, also losing the final to Arsenal in 2020, so they will be hoping their luck is about to change if they are to avoid becoming the first team to ever lose three consecutive FA Cup finals.

One player they will have to do without at Wembley is left wing-back Chilwell. The former Leicester man was in fine form before rupturing his cruciate ligament in a Champions League clash with Juventus back in December. It was an injury bad enough to rule him out for the rest of the season and plenty of pressure has been piled onto Marcos Alonso in the time since.
But although he will be unable to play a part on Saturday afternoon, the 23-year-old will be making his support heard from the sidelines. Ahead of kick-off, he shared a selfie to his Instagram story in a car, wearing a Chelsea polo shirt. Alongside the image, he wrote a simple three-word message to his teammates: "Up the Chels!"
