Ben Affleck "could retire from the public life" amid claims there was tension between him and wife Jennifer Lopez during their latest red carpet experience.
The couple tied the knot last year, but have recently been seen having a number of seemingly heated exchanges.
They were photographed on the red carpet earlier this month as Ben sternly pointed towards something in the distance.
The Argo star, 50, is said to be looking for a quieter life, with a PR expert suggesting it is "entirely possible" for Ben to do.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Mayah Riaz said: "It doesn’t look like he enjoys the public side to being an actor, such as awards shows and premieres.
"The last few times he has been at award shows, he hasn't looked like he had enjoyed being there.
"The more he appears at award ceremonies looking miserable or like there’s a tension between him and Jennifer, she may not want him to attend.
"There are celebrities in the starred who have a quieter life despite their celebrity status. This is entirely possible to do."
Mayah suggested Jennifer would still be able to keep her huge celebrity status even if Ben takes a step back and lives "under the radar".
The PR to the stars was quick to add that although Ben and Jennifer have been spotted seemingly rowing, it doesn't mean the end for their romance.
"Who knows what the reality of their relationship is. Yes, they may have had a few rows, even in public but which couple doesn't row?
"If a photo of them fits a narrative, the media will feed into that.
"All that we know is that they are still together as a couple. They know each other well enough now and I think it's for keeps this time around for them," Mayah said.
The comments come after Ben and Jennifer were seen around Los Angeles over the weekend as they put on a loved-up display.
The couple even shared a big smooch, which was caught by the paparazzi as they walked in and our of shops.
Jennifer cut a very chic figure in a yellow and brown frock, which sailed down to her ankles before showing off her wedge sandals that were in a brown hue.
