Ben 10 x Fortnite skins leak ahead of launch on April 24

Ben 10 is coming to Fortnite’s item shop this April, according to several notable Fortnite dataminers such as ShinnaBR and Hypex. The collab includes standard Ben and Gwen skins, and three transformation skins for these characters, alongside other cosmetic additions.

After weeks of rumors, Epic Games finally confirmed the Ben 10 collab with a 10-second teaser, which shows Ben using the Omnitrix to choose one of the alien transformations. Not long after, the entire 30-second Ben 10 x Fortnite collab trailer showcasing Ben 10 skins and other cosmetic items was posted by Fortnite Japan‘s official X account.

As mentioned above, the Ben 10 x Fortnite collab includes five character skins. These include:

  • Ben
  • Gwen
  • Heatblast (Ben’s transformation)
  • Alien X (Ben’s transformation)
  • Anodite (Gwen’s transformation)

All these skins are based on Ben 10’s sequel animated series, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, which focuses on teenage Ben, Gwen, and Kevin after the destruction of Omnitrix.

In addition to character outfits, expect two backblins, pickaxes, and emotes to be added in Fortnite’s item shop. In the leaked trailer, you can see Ben running around with an Azmuth backbling. It’s also worth pointing out that both Ben and Gwen can transform mid-game into their alien counterparts.

He’s also seen wearing and using the Omnitrix, which suggests it might be more than cosmetic, perhaps a Mythic item to find and use in the game?

As for pricing, nothing’s clear at the moment, but you could expect to purchase Ben 10 skins individually or as part of a bundle; the latter likely costing 3,000 V-Bucks, the standard pricing for new collab bundles.

While the fan-favourite character is notably missing from the leaked trailer, he may be added later in the game. If anything, there’s a demand for him, with many fans disappointed with his sheer. Some wished that his car, Action Cruiser, would make a great addition to Fortnite’s BR mode.

Either way, just three transformations seem a little thin for such a highly requested collab. Thankfully, fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer to find out more.
